How to Bench Test a 915 Trani

I had to drop the motor on my brand new build to deal with what looked like a clutch fork issue but turned out to be a cracked pressure plate.
While I'm waiting to sort things out with the supplier, I have this 915 trani on my bench that I sure would like to test . Is there a particular procedure to bench test without opening the unit?
Thanks in advance.
Johan

You can work the shifter in all gears, but that won't tell you anything, other than it shifts.

Remove the inspection plate and post a pic of the back side of the plate and the internals.

I agree, all you can tell is that it is free to rotate and that it will shift.

If you had a decent size electric motor and an inverter you could possibly zero load spin it to 2-3000rpm but again this wouldn't tell you much.

I used to design/manufacture Transmission test rigs but even a relatively simple rig would be hugely expensive as you would also need to be able to load the unit.

The cheapest way to test it is to stick it in a car.
