Recognize this piston logo?
I've had someone, or folks before say this is Max Moritz, but I can't find this logo anywhere attached to the name in a Google Image search. I've searched JE, Wiseco, Max Moritz, Mahle.
It's a 98mm flat top for my 3.2. What do you guys say?? ![]() ![]()

Looks like a Mahle orientation mark.

Can't say what your pistons are, but this is a photo of my 98mm, Mahle Max Moritz pistons (9.8:1) from a couple of years ago...

Squiggle line = side towards the flywheel.

JustTheTIPpy, you've probably already figured this out, butt to add to what Bruce said, the squiggle represents the crankshaft and the rectangle at the end of the squiggle represents the flywheel.

Yeah, yeah, I get it. I thought it was a company logo at 1st.
Need to weigh them. Weiner and Schmidt both told me to keep RPM to 6750, as MM pistons are heavy. Since these appear plain Mahle's, maybe they're lighter? 7k sounds good to me if safe! |

I would hope the Mahle MM pistons are forged since they'd be replacing original forged pistons? At least that's what i've gathered from the Porsche tech info
