Intermediate shaft - adding second bearing in early Mg case

For my 69 magnesium case, once the case has been reamed for the second intermediate shaft bearing, does it require a different intermediate shaft? Or is the ID of the bearing the same as the OD of the existing shaft? I searched and didn't find a definitive answer.

Thanks

Since you started with a mag case, the intermediate shaft should be the same one that the later mag cases with the second bearing used.
