Leaking Temperature Sensor Fix

When the temperature sensor in the lower radiator hose on the wife's '04 330i started leaking, I went crazy looking for an O-ring that would fit. I finally gave up and bought a new temperature sensor.

I just found a thread on another forum that indicates that o-rings of the correct size (or close enough, anyway) are available. o-ring #31

Ace Hardware sells a #31 o-ring for $0.59.

Home Depot sells #31 o-rings in pak of 10 for $1.79

I have not tried this personally, but I will definitely try it when my 325iT starts leaking, which it will eventually.

I actually looked at Ace Hardware when I was o-ring hunting. Guess I did not look hard enough.
