BMW Roundel Looking for some help

Ok, im new to all this.

I have a 1988 528e and i would like it to sound better. I would like to do the intake/exhaust thing. But i dont know where to go to get used parts possibly, since im kinda broke.
Also, i have noise fuel injectors is there anything besides using fuel injector cleaner to dampen the noise,
thanks

Hey, Im From East Haven Connecticut, used to live in Clinton, CT.
Could be the valves, im not sure. My mechanic said that i just have noisy injectors. They make a clicking noise. Another 528e that i know that someone owns doesn't make that noise at all. Is that something i can fix myself?

Does this clicking noise sound like it is coming from under the front wheel arch and also sound like it only occurs with each rotation of the wheel (kinda like you have a small piece of metal stuck in the tyer tread). Also one other thing, is it more evedent as you reach a speed of about 40k,s?

The clicking noise that i hear all the time even occurs when the engine is idling out of gear. It gets louder and faster with acceleration... is it the Lifters or something?, thanks

The fuel injectors on the M20 motors are noisy by nature, however I dont htink they would get louder as you accelerate. I'm thinking maybe you need to adjust your valves.

The reason I mentioned the the clicking noise with what SEEMS to be with each wheel rotation is that I am experiencing this noise on my 520i coupled with brake squeel from the same area, coincidence??(the area I am referring to is the front drivers side wheel, remembering that in Australia we have right hand drive cars like the UK). The noise does not occur when the car is at a standstill no matter how hard I rev the engine and also I dont seem to have any problems with the way the car runs (or idles) and like I mentioned earlier only kicks in at around 40k,s
