paint combo name and code
I have just purchased a used '01 R1100S that is the yellow/black combo with checkered flag pattern and large "R1100S" written on the sides of the fairing. The paint code under the seat shows only #807 (Dakar Yellow). What was this combo called? What is the name of and paint code for the black? Thanks.

Dakar Yellow/Night Black is what it was.
I think the paint code is #716, that's what I've seen anyway. And are you sure the Dakar Yellow is #807? I've only found #337 for that. #807 could be the "combinations color code" ...

Thanks for the info. The number under the seat was 807 and someone else told me it was for Dakar Yellow. Where can I get the codes to match both colors?

Those are the numbers I posted to you, which you can cross-reference at a BMW dealer ... Car or Motorcycle.
Dakar Yellow II (Non-Metallic) = #337 Night Black = #716 Like I said, call a dealer just to confirm, but that's what I found in my searching. |
