I was thinking of Shannon today...google search and boom...back to this thread. I wanted to reach out to guys as I have read through the thread and thank all of you for keeping Shannons memory alive.

I have sinced moved from the midwest and have been in New Orleans since September of 2005.

Again, just a heart felt welcome to all of you who are keeping his memory alive.

My condolences to the family and his close friends. Did not know Shannon but the feeling of loss is profound for those of us that ride and share our experiences on this forum. I'm truly sorry .

Are you not familiar with the Shannon story Rique? It happened almost six years ago, but was very tragic due to many circumstances. There are threads all over within this board that are very interesting, both leading up to and then after his death. There are probably at least 10 seperate cowl delivery threads (if not more) as the cowl made its way across the United States and with a short visit to Canada. If you type "shannon cowl" in a search box, the threads and people involved, plus the pictures, make for very interesting reading.

That was his dads. I had been there a few times. Shannons driveway was very steep and he used to back his bike down it and turn the wheel hard and lean at the same time. First time I saw him do it I was like WTF! LOL. I remember turning my bike around in his garage and then going down with my bike pointing the right direction.

Many moons have passed since I last typed here. I don't know why but Nunley popped into my noggin this morning on my way to work.

Thought I'd have to look long and hard for this thread.

Wow. First page.

Thankful for you real and "virtual" pals out there. Ride safe.

Hard to believe that it's been seven years.

I think about Shannon on a surprisingly regular basis. I only knew him from a year of back on this board and a whirlwind high speed weekend in Arizona when I rode around the U.S. a number of years back. He left an impression to put it mildly. He's missed.
