Tahoe ride; Steve C, let's confirm date\loca
Hey Stevie Baybee; ET AL:
Can we confirm dates\location for this Tahoe gig? I'm really looking forward to a nice ride down, a nice ride around and a nice ride back. Not going to laguna this year and this deal-io is shaping up for me to be a great ride. It's Sat-Sun 26-27 August, right?..the 27th is my birthday; time to beat the snot outta someone else's jetski on the lake, maybe ![]() What location? South Lake Tahoe, or what? I'm getting ready to book motel and need kinda to know hwere I should be. And if it falls apart, it's still a great few day's ride. With no pager and my cell turned off. And NO $%^&^*(( laptop leash to be tied to....ye-haw.

Yepper, it starts with arrivals Friday 8/25, an all day ride Saturday and probably a half day ride Sunday. The location is Incline Village. I'll be at a house there with the inner circle and the rest will be at a local hotel or motel. I'm waiting for a friend to talk to someone he knows at the Hyatt to see what kind of group rate he can get, but I'm not expecting it to be cheap. If it's not, I'll call some local places and make a deal. You can book reservations, but we'd like everybody to stay at the same place, perhaps two at most.
No jetskis, but maybe I can score a nifty boat...

'You can book reservations, but we'd like everybody to stay at the same place, perhaps two at most.'
that would be just fine with me ![]() My plan is to arrive sometime friday evening. I'll go do the mapquest/google earth thingie for some info on Incline Village. Just lemme know so I can get a booking. I just turned in my vaca request for the time; I'll leave 0-dark-30 wed. morning and hope to pull in Friday eve. I do believe rental jetskiis are at the south shore. maybe others will be interested. It'd be great to get in from a ride sometime Sunday day and go flog a 'ski on the lake for a bit. My birthday ye-haw and all that...even if I do go by myself. and I'll toss in for a rental donzi or fountain (hehehehe) if one is to be had on the lake. A really fast boat is a rush comparable to a dirt bike. A really really fast boat will pucker your sphincter....I guarantee it

I don't know what a fast boat does to your sphincter , but I do know what that water does. Good luck.
