...they are not chronological... just as they popped up... I have about 900 pictures to wade through... most of them just simply beautiful, all of them reminder why it is that I love California so much!

Within 6 days I had everything from below sea level to over 10000' and from the lower 40's to almost 115 degree heat... top down, and just absolutely enjoying the surroundings as they went by... most of it coastal or back roads... some of it freeway... but ALL of it wonderful... NO traffic to speak off - LOL were were blown away when we saw the first traffic light after leaving San Fran... I think it was in Mendocino... and the Local Traffic JAM was a line of 6!!! Cars....

I can't wait to be back in SLO again soon...

Yes, The dog is nuts, it does laps through the house at full run. Ha, my son has her pull him on the skateboard too. it is a very good pet.

I wish. Maybe in my next life. I go to the air races every year, since it's just over the hill for me. In a roundabout sort of way, last year's event was the impetus for buying my r11.

Thanks. I've lived here for 9 years but had only the vaguest clue about the great roads around here due to no bike since 1997. That's changing, quickly. Off to highways 88 & 4 tomorrow. Great forum here. I've been lurking practically since I bought my r11 last September. Wish I'd discovered it before I bought my bike.
