There are people living there. Not people like you or me, but they are there. I think they just were there from the old days of cattle and the railroad and have nowhere else to go because they just own the land and a broken down trailer. Wouldn't want to be there late at night though. I hear the homemade sausages are finger lickin good...

Utah is my favorite for landscapes and Japan for architecture.

Idaho is a land of great diversity, and no snickering at my use of the word. "They" claim if Idaho was pressed out flat it would be as big as Texas. LOTS of vertical in Idaho.
More nuclear reactors (mostly little test units) out in Eastern Idaho than in the rest of the planet. About as much primitive wilderness as you will ever find, too. Diversity.
