Afraid to click on it.. your last link in the joke thread loaded my computer with a bunch of Ad crap.

I just went back to the joke thread and used the link which I got from a Facebook timeline...the intended .jpg appeared as normal on this iPad until I actually clicked on the jpg...yep, heaps of bad stuff...apologies to all. It has been deleted from the joke thread.

the YouTube link above seems to work still but, once bitten and all that...

Edit - I've done the embed thing from Youtube...how brave are you?

Thanks for the warning, Bill. I didn't click on it because of your caution.

dang it bill, you get to do all the cool stuff.
curious though, is this a regular Sunday thing in your parts?

we only have the ocean.
when somebody doesn't pop back up, there's not a lot of dredging to be done. there's a little helicopter lookie-see, a little boat action, followed by "eh...noseeum."

most times, we just have to wait until they wash up on shore.

admittedly, it's not nearly as exciting as what you guys have, but it still can be a memorable day for an early morning beach jogger.

Not that common, The Emt's came running by me from the street above the river park, and the boats came flying from all directions. Since it is so rare, I guess they still feel a sense of urgency to try and save the person, whether they be an accidental splash, or a homeless guy trying to end the pain.

I was about 500 feet from the action snapping pics, of all the rescue workers on a pier, I may post some more tonight.

...not only the opposite direction, but also a few meters lower...

...on the sat nav it looked like this...
...max speed here : 90 km/h (56 miles)...

...I didn't succeed... ;)
