I have had lots of advice, and some hands on training, a couple months ago… But Craig has patiently endured hundreds of emails, and answered lots of silly questions, even when i was frustrated at my inability to make what i thought were simple shots work.. I owe him hugely, and try to do my very best as a way to thank him for his time.
Now it is about experimenting, and being at the right place at the right time. Still making lots of mistakes as I experiment, but I am learning. Time to read lots of books, and work on knowing how to use the camera for each composition. Thanks for the kind words, and huge thanks to Craig, but my images lack so much compared to his, I feel awkward when people make references comparing my stuff. If people only knew all the work, the extremely expensive equipment, and technical skill Craig uses to make his photography.

Crappy picture, but yesterday I was in the mountains and was working on stuff in the back of my Jeep with the doors and tailgate open. heard a slight noise, just in time to catch this guy wandering by me before he dropped back into the scrub oak. Totally caught me by surprise....
