So many pretty landscapes. :) Me, I also enjoy taking pictures of flowers. Here's one I made today from a blooming cactus.

Utah this evening...

I had the day off and drove out to Capitol Reef National Park. Specifically the remote upper Cathedral Valley section. 150 miles from here. A place very few people go. I didn't see any. And I had about 35 miles of dirt to go in the dark before a paved road.

Early today, Baja. Guess I'll go riding again! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1198332973.jpg

Here's from a few days ago right after our "epic" ice storm. This is the cruise boat Twilight moored at its dock in Le Claire, IA, with Port Byron, IL, across the river.

Have a new cam, D40x, and I'd post some 'bit of wintertime' pics from here in SoCal,

but I don't wanna be having to look over my shoulder every day of winter or field the threats from the
answering machine.

Maybe later.

RoLoo,
Very nice. Thanks for taking the time to share your wonderful landscapes with us.

RBMann 12-23-2007 03:13 PM

Roloo-good looking photos but maybe a little too cold for bicycling or motorcycling.

Full moon tonight...

I had a trilogy going. Friday is further back.

Cranking on the saturation knob...

ckcarr 12-23-2007 06:39 PM

I like saturation! As does K. Rockwell. He also likes the D300 and says it's 75% of the D3 for 1/3 the price...

Steve Carlton 12-23-2007 06:48 PM

You gotta like Nikon these days...
