There was a great article last year, I believe it was in Sports Rider, that discussed the previous generation Honda MotoGP engine. They included charts that showed the pulses of power to the rear tire based on firing order and a few other factors, it was cool to see it graphed. Controlling power delivery is the main issue with the Kawasaki screamer engine that's currently under development. Kawasaki is hoping traction control will help tame the screamer.

Not sure about that. Their offline tests have shown tremendous power.
They're just going overboard on the taming.
