front turn signal

checked the search first and didn't find anything

Any tricks to removing the lens to change the bulb for the 1100s

Followed the procedure and the manual and it feel like the lens is going to break before it comes loose

Thanks

I think the whole assembly comes off (black part with the lense) and you pull the bulb out from the back side.

It's been a while but I am pretty sure that is correct.

correct, a bulb change comes from behind the pod.

Change the bulb? Remove fairing... twist bulb housing... pull out bulb... install new bulb, replace housing & replace fairing.

The amber lens assy will snap out of the black hand guard... and this allows you to change bulbs without removing the tupperware.

+1 on what wswartzwel said...you don't need to remove the Fairing. Just push the signal lense upward and then pull the bottom edge outward (might need to pry it gently with a small flat tip screw driver). Next begin to lower the lense until the two metal tabs (upper edge) clear the hole. If the tabs won't clear then take a very small screw driver (flat tip) and push them under the hole opening...once it's out you can rotate the Bulb Socket and pull it away from the lense assy...once you get the hang of it it's a split second job.
