With a nice round headlight off an old Airhead the Lo Rider would look pretty nice. Wouldn't want to be stuck in traffic with my ass hanging over the cat/crossover & the headers right up against the tank!

Covet . Covet . Covet . . .

Gee-eee-zzz. Now you've done it.

You made me drool all over myself, dammit. I also wet my spanky pants.

So. Just as I'm feeling like a Carnation Cow, completely content with my primitive little R11S. Just when I thought I'd never again pine over anything with two-wheels. Just when I'd realized that my new sneak . . . uh, er, running shoes are faster than I am. Just when I'd said to myself, "Self, I don't give a rat's ass about any of these new naked-nasty-raucous-expensive-street-hooligan-lookatmelookatmelookatme-machines" figuring that it's all simply another 'rage du jour.' Just when I began thinking I'm a little too old for those short bursts of 100+ on the '02 BCP anytime I could do so without risking a 'safe driving award.' Moan.

Okay. So now, I'm back on my feet, almost recovered from a myracardial infarc, with a clean pair of u-trou and clean jeans. And I'm thinking, "Did I just fall off a tuna boat? Why can't I remember my mother's maiden name? Where the f*** have I been? If I'm using The Google and driving around The Internets every day, how'd I miss this black beauty?"

All right. Sure. I admit being a dim H4. But can you please tell me where these pics came from? Is this machine real? Is it a one-off, never-to-be-built prototype? Or is it a limited production track bike? Is it -- or anything close -- destined be a production thing? If I give you my Curvey ElderBerry Smartphone, can I have one?

Does 'EICMA' stand for 'Express Import Coming to My Address' ???

Enlighten me or redirect me, if there's a source for more info on this 'eicma' . . .

Thumbs up

I guess that is BMW's version of a Monster,Griso or Sporster.
Not bad looking!A little more practical it could be turned into something like a more tasty version of the R1200R (Rockster)
Also the wire wheels,verrry nice.
With a fresh design like this there is hope for a tasty R1100S/R1200S/R1200ST
replacement!We'll see...
The F800R looks not bad either but why the messy chain instead of a clean belt drive?Makes sense on the F800GS but on the R...
SV650 or 650 Kawasaki cheapos still won't buy the more expensive BMW despite the cheaper chain.Stupid move...
Any pictures of the new Aprilia V1200 line of bikes?
Or maybe a new and interesting Moto Guzzi?

EICAM is a motorcycle fair in Italy; it's a one off based on a HP2!

No pictures about new Aprilias?
The BMW "Lowrider" is kind of a Scrambler/Bobber/Cruiser/Monster style elements mixed together.Retro-modern...Not bad!High on style, low on function...

I shoulda' known . . .

Thanks, HugoVW -- Disappointed? Yes, indeed I am. Yeah, sure, I suppose I'll get over it. Eventually. I didn't mean to carry on so -- and publicly, no less. Damn embarrassing. But, hey. No worries. I'll recover. A few minutes ago, I tripled my daily doseages of anti-depressant meds . . .

Beauty is a very subjective thing.
I think the lowrider is very...fugly...a subjective judgement but I know beauty when I see it (R1100S) and that ain't it

Hmmmm .... I test rode a Monster and a Speed Triple a few weeks ago. Both great bikes in their own way. But, for general curb appeal, this bike has them beat. I would definitely like to take this for a spin. Although I've found my R12S and expect to be together for some years to come.... it can't hurt to look.

BMW Roundel

Put a Britten type "Cafe Racer" tank/fairing combination on it.The high tailpipes closer together and a real 2 up seat and I could see a very tasty retro-modern R1200S...That design is any bit as nice as italian designs lately and let me hope that there is something worth getting exciting about in the pipeline...!
The F800R is very nice looking too especially considering that they already had all the pieces in the storage bin...
Swingarm, light, pipe from the F800GS.Too bad about the chain...

Roloo...stop looking any further
For me the star of the show was this bike:

130hp and 136kg's !!!! nice or what and it doesn't get more retro then this...
only drawback would be...that is costs 100.000 Euro's (I don't want to convert that into dollars

BTW Xaus started testing and was third fastest after Spies (!) and Biaggi...

I picked up a copy of MCN (the UK mag) here in London and they have a nice spread on the two new BMWs. The 1200 will have different pipes, headlights, seats and paint schemes available. Kinda build your own. I'd like a BaggerTard.
