Imagine Mokee only tighter, Phillip... less than half the width in the tight spots, more rutted with 6" - 10" deep loose sand, rocks and negative cambered corners... the drops are steeper and the trail is longer... very few chances to turn around once you committed... and the whole time you hope that there will be nobody coming on... but then, few are crazy enough to do so!

I would not have recommended you and your son ride up and over the Shafer trail two up, on the worlds heaviest dirt bike.

I just remembered that you mentioned Potasch road as a good road to go when I saw the sign... totally neglecting the fact that we were talking about renting a 4x4 when that road came up....

I found this on the BB Power website, evidently 122.8 HP is Stage 5, although they don't really list what they do to the engine other than exhaust and ECU rewrite.

If memory serves these are the fellas who claim that they can re-map the OEM BMS-K (although barely believable). Found this info in a K series related site but I forgot which one. In Greece mags have dynoed repeatedly stock R12S at 103-105 rwbhp (DIN, correction step 2, sea level, 24oC) but with a "worse" OEM diagram than this (lot's of flat spots). IMHO a task worth the name is to get the ponies in the lower possible rpm band (like Ron's graph) and across the whole "partial TPS" spectrum.
