Ralf is a "what you see is what you get" kind of Guy...doesn't leave you trying to guess what's going on. I fine with that...it's the cagey types that are more difficult to deal with...you never know where you stand with them.

What's the T-Shirt they sell around here in the German Food Stores?..."You can tell a German, but you can't tell him much"...there's a grain of thruth there but it's all in fun.

Being married to a German for 13+ years I find plenty to like about the "German Mindset". Others may disagree for reasons good and bad.

I've not met Ralf personally but I'm fairly confident that if you needed help and he was able to help you he'd be there in a Flash!

Never heard that, Dan... BUT VERY FUNNY!

No questions asked, Dan... and that is valid for ANY ONE! We could still beat each other up after that if we'd desire... but I do not pass anyone who needs help (that has absolutely NOTHING to do with how I feel about someone). That's is just bad practice...

I have been helped many-a-times and I have returned the favor many-a-times... both of which a good feeling.

Actually, even George here has benefited from that before ;) Or some of the kids his son pays baseball with, I guess...

What you are forgetting here, Kyle is that this is a public forum... if you post, you open yourself up for ALL KINDS of responses... including mine.

If you just want to get happy-go-lucky stuff, I recommend a support group... or PM's with the one's you favor (wheres the "you" does not pertain to you personally...).

I am just voicing my opinions... however wrong or right they may be.

...and while we are OT...

Look what I got myself today:

SPEAK for yourself, Jeffie...

Although I was talking about two strokes, I was not talking about the amount of REVOLUTIONS!

AMAZING how you ALWAYS have to go there...

;)

(snipped)

No, i'm not forgetting this is a public forum. Please don't assume you know anything about what I think.

My point, and i'm sure you won't "get" this, is that wherein people value and appreciate your technical help, your opinion more often than not, offers no value - in fact usual is only trollish and inflammatory. So, one makes you a welcome person, one makes you a pariah.

perhaps when you feel the need to lambaste someone for what you consider buffoonery, you yourself should consider PM's (and I do mean "you") rather than stirring $hit on a obviously public forum. which is probably the desired affect anyway.

and as you say, this is just my opinion, but i'm sure it is one that won't change anything here.

Yeah, I should have added that "it seems"...

But you are right, it won't change anything, at least not pertaining to me... you are free to think about me whatever you want... I won't argue your opinion, nor does it matter to me in any way.

That's not inflammatory, just a fact.

im in one of my moods, and this just seemed like a good place to say that. have a nice daySmileWavy

SergioK 05-23-2009 07:57 AM

One of my old favorites. Hilarious

RBMann 05-23-2009 10:37 AM

I have met Ralf and he seemed normal to me. Hope that is not an insult.

signit98 05-23-2009 10:38 AM

Damn you... that's what I get?

NORMAL???

Pffftttttttt....

;)

XLR8R 05-23-2009 10:49 AM

World would suck w/o people like Ralf

this is not a comment on the person who started this poll but a comment on the reason this poll would even be started. the tally column needs to be "for Ralf" and "Women", not "Losers". it takes iron to sharpen iron.

Wow this forum and this world would suck without people like Ralf.

everyone would be:
- driving in the left lane
- turning left from the right lane w/no oncoming traffic
- filling up this forum and others with b.s.

It is clear that some people on this forum cause us to think before we post. if that didnt happen, we would all be posting on some gixxer forum or blogging about it.

Thank you, though... you are getting my point.

signit98 05-23-2009 11:00 AM

...Abby... Abby Normal... yeah, that's what it was...!

Darn, now I have to watch it again!

shreddr 05-23-2009 11:04 AM

please don't mistake Ralf as a catalyst for thought, far from it. more like the censor who pisses on everything, until finally everybody just shuts up for fear of being berated. like i said "he is what he is" provocative? yes, thought provoking? not really

signit98 05-23-2009 11:10 AM

In order to be thought provoking, Jeff... it would take a target that is capable of thinking... clearly not your forte!

So, you are not the right person to judge that, sorry... keep on trying though... it's good start!
