I am 6'2" with a 34" inseam. The pegs are too tight for me, but also the bars are way too far forward. So you may not have any trouble with the pegs, but the reach to the bars will be worse unless you have a very long torso. I wasn't able to get barbacks or risers because of the Paul Smart fairing. Some were able to do it, but not well, imho. Without the fairing, you can do anything, but it was the PS fairing that I was impressed with. There's a Ducati website, the link of which I've lost, that had lots of great info.

Stock exhaust....the PS is really chocked down from the box. To wake it up I put on Termi's and had a Ducati shop in Atlanta dyno tune a chip. Really woke it up.....like kicking a beer can.
I've got some pics around here somewhere if you really want it. It's one of the most beautiful bikes made to my eye but boy is it a rack. Send a pm to Dan Greene on this list. He has my bike.

This seller has good taste. His R11S looks like the one I had.

From what I hear locally the FE is a sweeter handling bike than the PS, but since I've not ridden either recently, and not back to back but years apart, I can't really comment.

The FE was indeed a sweet bike. I was insane to have sold mine.

Wow! that is one cool looking Duc. I will consider that one too. What are the best years for the FE. Was it Fuel injected?

FE stands for Final Edition.....of a long line of 900SS two-valve air cooled bikes made initially famous by Hunter S. Thompson himself.

Are you referring to this little story? I'm actually not sure, but it was entertaining.

The bars cant be lifted on the S model due to the fairing.

That's it ck. I love that pic of the wild man himself with the 900SS/SP. Thanks for finding it. I have it somewhere but lost it.
