Correct O2 Sensor?
I was told by a fellow biker (although not riding a BMW) that a lot of oxygen sensors will work just fine in my 99 R1100S. It just has to thread into the hole and have four wires, that it. He said that as long as you are okay here, that you just splice the wires, don't worry about the connector.
He claimed that the main difference in many of these O2 parts is the exact wire length and type of connector attached. Too good to be true??? |

Do not take too seriously

Given that a narrowband O2 sensor like used in motorcycles are essentially binary switches around stoich, I would say that is true.

Man it's flat out here!

I used the Bosch O2 Sensor (P/N: 13474) on my '99 R1100S too. Work fine and costs much less!!!
