![]() As for seems to have all but the start, blimey!! the whole Ducati team will be up too their necks in mud and alligators, never mind sorting the bike out the old guard is just going out the door and the new lot are coming in they have even gotten rid of Guareshi!!!!,but the real problem will be time. In 2010 I hear Honda in desperation to sort the bike out built 93 frames before they hit the jack pot gives you some idea what what Ducati are up against even with Audi now doing their bit and a new team both in the pits and at the factory to see any serious improvement you've really got to looking at 2015,it's why Suzuki got cold feet far easier to hang your dirty washing out in private and stay away. |

Jeeze Chris, I can't remember the context under which that was written. I think you answered it in a later post on a different thread when you addressed the the position on the fully fueled tank on the Tech 3 Yami. Ducati certainly has their work cut out for them betweem now and Sepang. 2014 will have to be a turnaround year for Ducati if they are ever to get back on the podium on a regular basis. I guess the frame is a good place to start.

Where it gets complicated there's a faction out there that thinks the problem is the motor and how it runs,if any serious progress is made in 14 I'll be amazed 15 at the very least it took Honda years to dig e'mselves out the 800 hole, and for the same reason Suzuki got cold feet for next year and pulled out.
Where it gets even more complicated with the Works teams have 20l and 5 engines against the likes of Aspar with the customer Honda's and the MGM bikes who have 12 engines and 24 litres, well the Honda only has 23 the factory decided that they didn't want to give them two much of an advantage. Do you still have a recording of the Aragon GP??,as he's left the team and I'm not giving too many secrets away have a look at Crutchlow on the first 3 laps!!! he's reeling Bautista and Bradl in and then it stops!! why? because he was only allowed to do 3 laps on the A fuel map because if hadn't have changed to the B map he'd of run out of fuel, the factory Yamaha's have a different set up so they keeped going, and there were two other races during the year like that. |

You don't need the times you can see he's catching both and then it stops.

Yeah, now I see what you're saying. So he selects Map B and the race is over for him.
