Agree... And Im thinking the staintune is also very heavy, any one know if that is correct, Just looked up on staintune website, $2,000 Australian dollars for a set, so that about $2,500 in my money, seems expensive, plus freight on that...

Love that color scheme! Sometimes I sort of regret selling the R1100S to finance the R1200S purchase.

My two-tone mandarin and silver R1100S was my first BMW motorcycle and she served me well for a little over ten years.

Yep. I still remember walking into Foothills BMW and seeing that bike. They had it all roped off, like it was a special deal. It was really awesome looking. Plus the fact that the r1100s itself was relatively new. So, a double whammy of coolness.

Anyway, I'm not sure where you would buy a Ztechnik system now. Looks like it's no longer on their website. Have to wonder who is still making systems for the R1100S? Ah, those were the days, days of discovering new cool stuff for the bikes...

Well their not!!,as the bike has slipped down the food chain, present day clientel ain't so inclined to throw money at the bike, and hence why their's no market for new stuff.

if those numbers are accurate, the Laser should come in around 9 lbs. Boxercup (robert foster) likely still can get them, with chip.
