How to remove reset Button on instrument Cluster on the R1100S
Anyone remove the mileage reset button

EZ,
That button actually is screwed onto its' brass shaft. If you apply a bit of lube beneath the knob, it will turn and not bind against the rubber protective boot beneath it. You could use a drop of WD40 or even alcohol as it will evaporate and not contaminate or collect dirt. Same for screwing it back on the shaft and inside that rubber boot. Pete |
