Minimum rotor thickness for machining

Hi,

Just tested out my new quick jack (awesome) and I see itís time to change the rear pads, did the fronts last year. Just wondering what the minimum thickness or the fronts and rear rotors are for machining? 06 Cayman S

I need new tires so hoping not to have to change rotors as well as pads.

Thanks in advance

Wouldn't that be anything more thing more than the minimum thickness. If you're close, like +5 mm or so, you would buy new rotors.

It's been my experience that machining doesn't help with warp--they may not pulse for a while, but the pulse comes back pretty quick.
