windstop a common option?

on the hunt of a boxster. my preference is 2005 or newer, and generally everything i see has the windstop, but some don't.

if i end up finding a car without the windstop, can it be added afterwards?

Garage
It was standard on my 2002 Boxster S. I thought all Boxsters had them. I took off the wind stop and the perforated black things behind the headrests because the car looked so much better without them.
