Unhappy how to remove auto shifter and side passenger mirror..help..

as the subject states.. im stuck trying to remove both...

any help would be appreciated...

Are you seeking to remove the mirror housing or just the glass?

Autoshifter.

<99 I think the shifter will just pop off.

However on 99+ the shifter will come off by carefully
prying the plastic center tab up, this will reveal a slide pin that you pull out.
Once that is removed, you can pull the little spring as well.
than the whole assembly can be lifted off the stalk.

than carefully pry the 4 sides of the boot cover off. The horseshoe is connected
with 4 press pin clips.

I have a tool that looks like a screw driver with a forked tongue with
a small bend in the end -- this is worth its weight in gold for trim removal
and removing press pins, etc.

Once you have the horseshoe off -- the rest is obvious.
