OBD2 android apps for Boxster
Has anyone used one of these new apps like "Torque" and a blutooth connector on their Boxsters? I'm planning to plug in when I get a chance and wondering if it's worth the trouble. It's already proven useful on my Olds that has a CEL for the gas cap. Cleared it with one click!
Also, is the cam timing part of OBD2 or a separate thing? I'm wondering if this setup would let me check that. I know Durametric would handle it but this would be something I already have. Thanks! Brian |

Didn't try it yet, but one thing for sure, it's not gonna show cam deviation. |

To read the cam timing, you need either the Durametric software, or a PIWIS, no phone "app" is even remotely as capable..............
