added center rad...bleeding problem

Well I thought I had researched everything I needed but am having an issue getting coolant into the center rad. There is some in there but the rad is not heating up.

I did the install using the directions on Pedro's Garage DIY page as I used standard heater hose and spliced my original lines instead of using 996 Y hoses. I have followed the bleed procedure both on Pedro's and PP here and they are identical, except Pelican says to run the heater to assist circulation. I have cycled through twice now and am puzzled why coolant isn't going in. On the drivers side line Pedro shows to splice the bottom hose and indicates it is the feed and on the passenger side it is the bottom hose for the return. I am beginning to think the top hose on the driver side is the feed...not the bottom. Anyone done this mod that can confirm??
Thanks in advance.

Top hose on the driver side and bottom hose on the passenger side.

Had to be! Thanks for confirming before I cut into it.
I have emailed Pedro to correct the image on his page.

No, I just bled per the service manual but also ran the heater and had the nose pointed downhill. It worked perfectly. I just ran a handful of runs at Watkins Glen and cooling temps were perfect!
