Alignment specs

Got new tires today and the shop tried to say I needed an alignment. I resisted because the old tires wore evenly and it drives very well.

When they gave me the printout I see they didn’t even realize that mine is a 2000 model and they were using 2005 987 specs.

What are the proper specs for my 2000 Boxster S?

Your car and your tires, but a better alignment would quickly pay for itself in tire wear savings. It will also drive a lot better. No difference between a 2000 vs 2005 Boxster alignment.

I think the printout is "before" an alignment which is why they said it needed an alignment.

What I don't understand is if the car was not scheduled for an alignment, how did the shop have this data to recommend an alignment since a lot of things get attached to the car and wheels in order to compute this data.
