I have mini cooper 2008 automatic convertible , i have no problems in changing gears or when i stop but when i press the pedal the RPM is increasing but the acceleration is not as much as the fuel increase , is this a transmission problem or wht it could be

First check the transmission fluid level to be sure it is correct. Then check the transmission ECM for fault codes. If the system is not working properly, a fault code will be set. This will be your best bet when diagnosing.
