2003 North American model mini cooper baseR50,220K kilometers, manual box, new battery, key recognizes, cluster lights up, gong sounds, doors unlock, engine cranks good compression but no spark and no injector pulse.

I would check for fault codes. Sounds like a possible theft issue.
