I am about to do a clutch on a 2009 Mini Cooper s. I know that it is different than this but really by how much? Can I use this as kind of a baseline? Does the front end come off in a similar way? Thanks,

It is very different. Not much of a baseline using this article. I would grab a repair manual. It will have the procedure, special tools and torque specs.
