Is the method for removing the Countryman R60 Serpentine Belt the same as the R56?
my 2011 countryman Base model has developed a screeching sound that's not the bakes so I was going to check out the belt tensioner bearings. __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: MINI Cooper Serpentine Belt Replacement (R50/R52/R53 2001-2006) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article |

If the engine is the same, the procedure for removing the belt will be similar. Accessing it will be different.

I'm thinking the Countryman might be a bit different from the R56, but you can give the tech article a shot to see if it may help. Also, while you do it, maybe photograph and take notes of the differences and then you can submit it to get 10% off your next parts order with us.
