How to check manual transmission fluid
Hi. I have a Mini Cooper 2005. I was wondering if I can access the bolt needed to just check the Transmission fluid from under the hood? Or will I have to jack my car up to get underneath?

Figure #4 in the tech article shows you where you need to access it under the vehicle.

You can also remove the reverse light switch on top of the transmission and check the oil.
