Hi guys. Just replaced my wife's 2007 cooper R56 thermostat . Thanks to your directions! After 3 days had a new error code: $7E8 engine, as well as : $79 A/T. When I clicked on these it stated "Engine coolant temp sensor 1",and "circuit low". But after many hrs on the web, nothing. Any ideas?

Make sure you have the connectors plugged into the right connections. Some individuals get the swapped, which will trigger a CTS fault code. Make sure the connections are also not loose/damaged.
