hi Nick, my question is the problem on power steering on a 2006 mini cooper is the motor or the pump and is posible to repair it or changing the motor the problem could be fix?

There are companies that repair them. That is your only option other than replacing it.

The pump itself fails/leaks. Also, inspect the power steering pump lines as those commonly leak as well and could be the source of your leak if you are only seeing a fluid leak and no other symptoms. Some drivetrain shops could do rebuilds. Google and see what is in your area.
