Great Article! If you could help me, my 2007 cooper s got in an accident that damaged right on the left headlight. Looking into it, the subframe disaligned a couple of inches to the right. If i unbolt the subframe without removing it, would it be possible to realign it myself? thank you for your time

Not likely. I would have it done by an alignment or body shop. As the minimum, once moved (if able to readjust) it will need an alignment.

Definitely take it into a body shop and see what may need to be done. There may be damage done that you cannot see with your own eyes. They will be able to tell you what the next course of action will be to take. If you need body panels, parts or a new headlight we have them below:
