Thank you for these great directions! I did this all for the first time, and it went without a hitch! I have a 2010 Cooper S and I went with a group 48 battery. It was definitely bigger than the original, but it still fit into the tray just fine. My car does not have the IBS, so as soon as the battery was hooked back up, all was good. Note: I had to reset the clock only and the trip meter reset to 0. My radio presets stayed set.
