Hi. I am just about to replace the steering pump on my wife's 2002 mini one 50,000 miles after I stupidly jump started it with the cables the wrong way round I know, I know. I've replaced the large food underneath the engine compartment fuse box and the smaller fuse above. Garage says diagnostics don't help. Before I crawl underneath and start, can you tell me if there is anything else electrical I should look at first? The car runs but no PS at all. No noises. Thanks in advance for your help.

Check the fuses at the battery if equipped and any smaller fuses in the vehicle and the engine fuse box.
