I have tried to pull my control arm off twice now with no luck. The outer ball joint is a piece of cake but the inner ball joint is another story. I removed the nut on the inner ball joint but I cannot raise the control arm for the life of me to remove it. I have read about lowering the subframe but I am unsure what this will accomplish other than maybe I need the room to raise the control arm up off the subframe? Do you have any tips or links to removing the control arm itself from the subframe? Not sure what I am missing.

Thanks in advance.

Did the ball joint release from the body or is it still tight?
