Let's kick it up a notch and drive topless. It's very freeing...

Rich, I can almost hear Marlin Perkins saying "While Jim wrestles the 14 foot crocodile, I am back at the camp and I want to talk to you about Mutual of Omaha insurance"

Cool toy!

For the young whipper snappers, google "Wild Kingdom"

Antichrist looks like a lot of fun. Something about driving a primitive truck like that puts a smile on my face. I also smiled at the Antichrist name. I have a truck I call Lucy. Short for Lucifer. Its beaten me down too many times. Has to be the devil.

Driving the Antichrist is a blast, but it takes a whole different mindset than the one for operating normal cars. I don’t know if I mentioned this, but it’s really slow to get going, takes some space to stop, and I get tailgated a lot, which kinda surprised me as I thought people might give a 60 year old Land Rover a break. That was wrong thinking. Correct thinking is I don’t care. I mean, I’d pull over for 911, but not some dipstick in a boring sh@tbox. Like my boss used to tell me, “If you wanted to get here on time, you should have left earlier”.

A couple weeks ago I rode in a 1936 Ford coupe. Original equipment, flathead v8 and 3 speed stick, except it had hydraulic brakes, but only on the front. Yes, you plan ahead to stop. It was still fun.

Looks great! While I want mine to have the hard top, the front is dinged up and I'm not sure it properly seals as it should.

Notice I said "as it should", which essentially means "keeping a lot, but not all water out".

I have been blessed with a Ride in the Beast for at least 20 minutes.

With all new suspension, it rides like a dream. Love the Rat Patrol style soft top .

Like everything that Rich touches, it's a special gem in the hands of a gentleman.
