The sticky post from the PP CEO with details about the sale of the business by Wayne so he could spend more time with his family and doing the things that he wants.

Yea, it is great for Wayne, but what about us!

Wayne, we all thank you for building a great playground and a resource for knowledge and a pool of friends. It is just cool to know I got in my 911 that has many thousands of dollars of Pelican Parts on it, and drive to Maryland and meet Seahawk, to Vermont and meet Pete, or all the other great friends I have met on Pelican that I am too lazy to list.

Hey maybe we can get a discount on the forum subscription!
Oh wait ...

The first time I met Wayne he was driving a rough-looking 911SC with duct tape sealing the sunroof.
He's come a long way.

Somehow I missed the sticky, congrats Wayne! Hope you enjoy the new found free time with your family, and to play with your toys.

If he gets bored he can start a reality show kinda like Wayne Carini's show, only good!
That didn't come out right.

Congrats Wayne! Truly deserved.

Wayne to me is like a contemporary Steve McQueen. Come on, buying an armored vehicle is just cool as all get out. :-) The other cars are just equally as cool.

Said hi to Wayne at Laguna once. He doesn't know me from Adam but was just a very nice down to earth guy. Made me feel even better supporting his business after that conversation.

I'm sure it was hard work to create and maintain the business. Part of that hard work is the space created here to create a community on the forums that reflect the camaraderie, the bench racing, and our combined love of motorsports for us to share.

I wish the new leadership success and hope the transition is seamless where us jackalopes don't notice a thing. (I guess it kinda did. :-))

I remember meeting Wayne for the first time on the shop floor at Hughes one day. A mutual friend said he knew a guy that was into Porsche's and that I should meet him. He was selling parts on line out of his garage at the time. The move into the El Segundo facility was a big one for him. Made parts pickup easy for me as it wasn't far from the Hughes plant. He really came into his own when he bought the Harbor City place.
Congrats on the sale Wayne. Now your family will get to know Dad.

Wayne, thanks for all the help your company has given me through parts and information for my Porsche. I could never have done it without this resource. Enjoy the family now.

I remember buying the 101 (plus a few more!) projects 911 from Wayne. That would have been around 15 years ago...
