Koenigsegg, if I won a huge lottery...

This is really cool. These things are all amazing. Koenigsegg > Musk

I've loved these things since I saw this.

Super cool guy and company. Without any auto industry experience, he just decided that he wanted to build supercars. In a world where Aston Martin is using AMG engines, they design and make almost everything down to the brake calipers and carbon fiber wheels. Really quite remarkable in today's day and age.

naw tabs. It's engineering/automotive art.

I met him(Koenigsegg) in 2005 Vegas. After hearing his car's design innovations I was impressed, and told him I expect him to be our next Porsche (the man).

I also argued with him about blower vs turbo. He was firmly in the blower camp. ...until I explained that turbos allow more complete combustion time at temperature and pressure, and therefore make for easier to reach (otherwise difficult) emission goals. Clearly he listened. Nice to see he is a man who can change position on new information.

He clearly thinks about cars a LOT. Not just day dreaming, but in depth thought on a mechanical and engineering level.

Very impressive guy.

As the factory is just a couple of miles from my home and my brother works there, I have been around the place. I can tell you that the level of devotion among the crew is outstanding. I bet some of them would even work there without any salary. Really proud and skilled group.
Unlike where I work.

It’d be a hard choice for me. This or a Pagani. Hopefully the lottery is big enough I can get both. 🤪🤪🤪

Aren't lottery fantasies fun? That alone sells the tickets.

Must be an age thing...cars way down on my fantasy list. A nice house with a huge game room atop mine. A room big enough to house a mini pool hall holding several tables..for snooker, bar table, tournament 9' table, and one for 3 cushion billiards. No TV in that room...just a good sound system.

What was wrong with the exhaust note at the beginning of that jay Leno clip?
Please tell me it was a problem with the sound recording equipment.

If I had no idea what car it was from and you played that sound bite I'd say .. what a POS. K-car with a blown muffler?

Psshht! Not to me. I can phantasize like a mofo without throwing money away. I think in my lifetime I’ve purchased two lottery tickets, and that was because a girl friend or wife wanted to do it.

A roll of paper towels and the "show me your rear end" thread? That your way to fantasize?
