Shoo the critters out of the house

I discovered a new trick for catching spiders instead of squashing them:
Use a light cardboard extra large chocolate bar sleeve. mine was from aldi
Get them in the open and scoop them up from below.
They fall right into it.
They stay inside the dark container crevice, because that what they wanted in the first place.
Dump outside.

For flies and birds:
Turn off all lights and close all curtains.
Open one southern window wide.
Move around to get things moving.
Out they go.

You'll be a millionaire if you can find a way to get grown children out.

the grown children is easy. Give them each a ticket to a sold out concert (to guarantee they go) and lock the doors and windows behind them when they leave. Or, better yet, sell the house and move over to the next county. Buy the new house under an assumed name and they will never find you!

Getting a fox out of your house involves an open door and pepper spray.

We had recently cleaned the front glass door, but had left the main open one nice afternoon. Wham! The doe didn't cause any harm other than slobber on the glass. Don't clean the glass, and they won't try to come in.

Use a flat blade long handle shovel indoors for a rattlesnake. Pointed blade for on the lawn.

One of my plant operators is doing precisely this. New house is short on bedrooms.

This lady was protecting her egg sack and did not want to leave so I had to use the shop vac. I believe that may be her late husband's carcass hanging above her.

I've actually run out of flies for the last few years.

My cat has a thing about catching them. He leaps way up into the air, or hurls himself against windows to get them. LOL then eats them.

One of the dogs is most impressed by this so I often have a dog and a cat chasing flies from one end of the house to the other with a competition between them as to who gets to catch and eat it.

I know someone who sold their house and moved into an apartment after the kids finished college.
