Bored to death here

I had the joint in my toe replaced with a titanium joint yesterday morning. I've been sitting around working logic puzzles and watching Clint Eastwood movies. Totally bored.

Clint doesn't like my new toe.

I mean he REALLY doesn't like it.

Sweet, you'll be faster now with the super lightweight toe!

Get well soon.

I'm sure you'll be playing kickball and soccer in no time!

So the first step in the bionic man begins!

I figure if the extraterrestrials come to earth and capture me, they will know right away I am from an advanced civilization. I have a titanium hip, and teeth implants. The iPhone will not impress them since they likely have the equivalent of the iPhone 10,000 and would see my pitiful old phone as outdated. But surgically implanted titanium must mean advanced civilization. Of course it could also be why the captured me, to harvest the titanium. Well maybe not.

Those toes look almost Trumpian small. Are you sure they are yours?

That is just amazing.

I was totally climbing the walls a few years back when I had one arm immobilized. I got full use back though, so it was a good trade off.

Best wishes on your recovery.

Arthritis. The joint in my toe was bone-on-bone and it hurt like hell to walk. I’m having the right foot done in a couple months. I can’t take opioid pain stuff - I have BPH. So it’s elevation, ice, and Tylenol. Doing fine so far but I’m tired of sitting on my ass with my foot up.

Get well soon, Patrick.

So, is it still self lubricating, or does it get a zerk fitting?

The O'fficial version goes something like this (hope it isn't over the line):

Quote:
An old couple was preparing for bed while on their honeymoon. When the man took his socks off, his bride said:
"Oh goodness, what happened to your feet?" "I had Tolio," he replied.
"You mean Polio?" she asked. "No, Tolio," he said.

Next he removed his pants and she said:
"Wow! What happened to your legs?" she asked. "I had Knee-sels," he answered.
"Measels?" asked the wife. "No," he replied, "Knee-sels,"

Finally, he removed his underwear.
"Oh, let me guess," she said, "Smallcox?"

Still self lubricating, lining of the joint produces the fluid.

Anti inflammatories will be very effective for the pain from that.

One time chuck Norris ran all the way around the world and punched himself in the back of the head.

Didn't hurt him though.
