Also finished the missing piece of the deck where it meets the shop wall. I did this months ago before prices went crazy.

The laundry room was next. The floor in this area needs to be raised to the deck outside the door.

A PT 2x4 on it's side on the floor with a 2 x 10 upright and I didn't have to rip it down.

I put down a piece of thick rolled flooring. I need to get a piece of metal stair nosing to finish it off but for now it's just duct tape. The water heater on the right. Added the step out of left over decking.

I needed some storage for all my long wood/metal/aluminum so I added these brackets to the studs.

But it wasn't enough so I made a rack out of HEAVY double solid unistruct with one end hanging and the other end on the wall.

On the outside I needed a deck for the grill and to fill in the corner.

Decided to "picture frame" it and run the planks on the diagonal which means more framing

I was lucky enough to buy the 5/4 planked months ago before the price increase. it's nice and dried out. Also bought the cheaper lower grade planks with the knots for this area.

Still on the list:

An outside shed built up against the back wall of the shop for yard tools, mower, and related crap.

Finish off the interior of the laundry room

Gutters and soffits

Pavers leading to the garage doors on the front.

Replace the old original door on the front of the shop with a hanging sliding door.

All to be done AFTER the prices get back to normal.

Stay tuned!

gas grill on the deck?

a concrete patio would let you use a wood fired grill

Gas grill.
Wood fired would be too much work.
