Hood on Lockdown right now
I live over the hill from the local Community College, the LA Sheriff's had a report of a female with a long gun in one of the parking lots.
My hood is locked down for the time being. Dang it, I need beer.

Ok, heard about it on the drive home after work, so I looked it up on a local news station's website. Apparently it was a woman carrying a branch, which was mistaken for a rifle.
 Like I said (wrote): when was the last time a chick shot up a school? Whoever called 911/campus security for that....

When were were kids in Texas we went to a local farm owned by a family friend. He hated crows and tried to shoot them. He said walking around with nothing in his hands the crows were everywhere. He could pick up a stick, and still the crows were around. Grab a gun and the crows vanished.
So the real moral of the story, crows are smarter than some California residents, they can tell a stick from a gun.
