I've done some door work on my '02 Silverado. Electric regulators both sides, replaced one outer door handle, door lock stuff. Always an adventure but so far never had to cut a port hole...wow!

Get 'ur dun!

It wasn’t ideal, but I was only able to see through the red circled hole and reach it from below… red arrow. It was by feel until I cut the opening.

Upgraded the look of my 2014 Wrangler with a Gladiator take off bumper from Facebook Marketplace. No cutting or mods necessary - bolts lined up perfectly.

Got tired of messing with the propane heater in the garage and the odor while using it. Just installed this 10,000 watt 240v unit that is WiFi controlled. Very nice heater!

Did you install the longer wheel studs?

Damn! You have no excuse to not spend every spare waking hour in the den of solitude now! Suh-weet, buh-lessed warmth cascading over your head and shoulders like a mothers hug!

A very successful day of fixing today. My friends polaris 700 4 wheeler had bad u joints on the front driveshaft. It was a crock getting it out and in because they put the engine in the way of it sliding off the shaft of the trans but with alot of prying and hammering it went. Then I see the rear shock is about to rip off the rusted broken rear swing arm so I welded that all back together. And Replaced the exhaust gaskets.
Then I got my 66 mgb running for the first time ever. The points needed cleaning but it fired up and ran nice. I went around and got a bunch of the bulbs working again. Still need to figure out why the wipers, blower, and radio dont work and see if its charging. Still more to do but happy that it ran as good as it did out the gate.

For now, I’m using bolt on wheel spacers, and I used blue loctite. The car won’t see any super heavy driving or track time.

I have that same Ryobi fan - don't use it that often but when I do it's a real lifesaver!

And the battery lasts forever. Love it. I have the smaller one too.

So true. I use one of those smaller ones with the narrow clamp arms to hold the throttle grip open on my Hawk until it warms up enough that I can take it off choke without the engine stalling.

Replacing siding on the 4th of February wasn't really my plan, but when I was on the roof clearing snow off the solar panels, I realized a clapboard had cracked in a couple of places. So, multiple trips up onto the roof to measure, cut, fit and caulk. At least it was only a degree or so below freezing and I was sheltered from the wind by the upper part of the house.
Today is much colder, so I'm glad that's off of my list.

Guy, having completed 7 decades and reflecting on things I have had to do under circumstances far more unpleasant, this job was pretty low on the scale. On the plus side, it was a good workout for my legs.

I got a text with a link to a Harbor Freight sale for LED shop lites for $12 this morning. Since I was about to go out to mail off one of my cameras, I decided to get one and put it in the garage hooked up to the opener. The single 'decorative' bulb I had in the opener on only one side really didn't light up much at night when no other lights are on.
Got the second to last fixture they had in stock. I left one for some other guy as I really didn't 'need' two of them.
Went to Home Depot and got some adapters and went to work on hanging it up.
Had a heck of a time getting the adapter to work. Finally switched it out with another one I had in use. Already had chains in place as I had wanted to do this for some time but hadn't found a cheap enough fixture to warrant putting it in.
This will be nice to come home to when it's dark out and no other lights are on.

55 watts and 5000 lumens is nice when it's total darkness out there.

Costco black Friday purchase jacuzzi arrived a month late.
600lb Curbside delivery.
Moving it behind the house.
Takes 3 movers with equipment to do it safely.
It's worth the hassle.
The pad is 120 feet down hill, steps and through the side yard.
