I think you are supposed to stick a 12 ga shell in the trigger guard to make it stand up for the photos

Here is my original P75. It’s an original P220 in 9mm. Note that it is a SIG, not a Sig Sauer. It also has the heel mag release.
This is my favourite pistol and is a laser. ![]() ![]() ![]() I changed the military grips on it and the original Swiss officer’s name and badge number were written on tape inside the grip.

Did someone say SIG? Here's a few.
![]() 220, 227, 226 Stainless , 226 Legion SAO. Legion is hands down my favorite.

Pretty guns fellas! Uncle billy I’m guessing that is a rare piece. Super cool with those grips.
Just left the range headed back to work. Honestly struggled with the gun. Lots of low left every time I tried to shoot on the clock. Very slow and careful it shot well. Sights are combat hold which I don’t like. If I can get better with this gun I’ll invest in the X-ray 3 sights I love and have it set up to shoot just above combat hold. Going to try the wood grips next. Previous owner has a lighter spring in it and I’m guessing it’s a 17lb. Very light double action. Actually surprised me a couple times. I shoot my 225a1 a lot better especially when timed. I don’t think it’s a recoil thing as this gun is heavy and recoil is not bad at all. The 220gr ‘syntech’ loads are really soft. Almost 9mm like in this gun. American eagle 230gr got me best results though.

Hmmm, are the low left shots from the DA or SA shots?

Geez. My 226 quit looking that good a few years as my bros service piece. Still shoots fantastic. But very patina coated.

Mine has had trigger work done at some point. I have no idea what or who did it. It was done while it was Swiss military property. The break is crisp but very light.
My friend has the identical piece to mine (we bought them together) and his has a heavier trigger than mine.

Where’s Rick Lee? Did we forget to illuminate the Sig bat signal?

Just finished installing the GrayGuns P22xST on my other P226 with the SRT kit. It’s fantastic! Close to the Legion 226 SAO trigger, but not quite the same.

Red tip is a coating instead of copper jacket. I assume it’s cheaper to make? Very popular amongst the reloading crowd. Those are slightly lighter and slower federal syntech 220gr bullets marketed as competition ammo. Lighter recoil than standard 230 grain.

I'd post my 226 and 229 but I'm too lazy to take another pic... I love my Sigs but I have my Glock by my bedside... only because in the very remote chance I had to use it, I wouldn't mind that they take the Glock during the investigation.
The possibility of losing a $400 gun vs. $900 gun is my motivation. |

Another Sig, probably an older one like Billy’s P75, is on my short list.
For the guys doing trigger jobs are you trying to improve the pull on DA, SA, or both?
