So apparently the playoffs haven't been exciting enough :D so Vegas/Sharks decide to go double OT !!! I made it to the end of the first OT then crashed to bed . Congrats to the Sharks to force game 7 , their goalie kept them alive in this one .

Ok, that was really a piss poor call disallowing that Caps goal against the 'Canes in the 3rd. May not have made the difference overall, but that was the refs inserting themselves into the game. Not good.

Oh well, looks like we're going to game 7. Caps have a decent game 7 record...as long as it's not the Pens.

The NHL has moved from parody to parity.

Despite the vast differences in records the 'underdogs' are very close to the top teams. One good line, or one great player along with good goaltending and a shutdown line can win a series now.

The road to the cup is wide open.

I am thankful that they don't ask "how pretty" just "how many". The Leafs played better than the Bruins for 60% of the game.
The Bruins tonight can be summed up in one phrase

I am a little bummed that the Preds didn't make it. My buddy has made me a running promise of a free ticket if the Bs and the Preds meet in the final.
That said, I'll take another cup win even if I don't get to go to any of the games. ;)
